UK in Belgium

The UK and Belgium have a long shared history covering many areas:

- political links: as well as strong bilateral links, the European Union is often at the heart of relations between the two countries;
- commercial links: Belgium is the UK 6th largest trading partner; maintaining and developing trade relations is the main objective of our UKTI section
- cultural links: the Belgo-British Conference is one of the many examples of co-operation between the UK and Belgium which we achieve each year notably with the help of the British Council.
